However, members have fought the eviction in Ontario's Landlord & Tenant Board. The <a href="http://www.ltb.gov.on.ca/en/index.html">Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)</a> protects tenants in the province of Ontario. In yesterday's ruling, the board's adjudicator ruled that Glen Echo members were tenants and therefore entitled to the protection of the RTA.
