1. Calling photographers! for the next issue of gN/aN

In its next issue (Winter 2009-10), the FCN's magazine, Going
Natural / Au naturel, plans to publish a poem about Santa Claus.
Although it's what you might expect --- a nude version of "'Twas the
night before Christmas," we think you'll like the twists in it.

But we haven't yet any good photos to accompany the poem. So we ask:
how'd you like to get into the Christmas season early, dress up
(actually down!) as a naturist Santa, and send us the pictorial results?

The main requirement is that Santa be nude (except for boots and a
cap, perhaps a Santa hat). A white beard would be welcome. He might be
dispensing gifts (volleyballs? sarongs? sunscreen? sunhats?) or even
riding a sleigh (with a towel on it, of course). Humour is encouraged.

Others in your photo may be nude but don't have to be. Video welcome
too! But ask us first (at the e-mail address below).

Let your imagination go on this one. And although we expect photos of
men, we're sure women can come up with something. In the spirit of
naturist equality, we don't limit Santa to being a man.

So, please send photos, which may be in low resolution for a first
consideration. (Don't increase their size or resolution; reducing is
fine for now if you keep the original.)

We can print more than one photo, so don't hesitate! Send photos to: editor at fcn.ca
--- as soon as possible (no later than October 20). Please include
your phone number.

Have fun with this!

2. Digital edition update

About two weeks ago, we alerted you to the second digital issue of
Going Natural / Au naturel, Fall 2009. It's probably the first
naturist magazine to publish video. That fact may make it into the
mainstream news media.

In the earlier message, you were directed to a URL that presents the
magazine in its digital edition. Now Magazines Canada has launched its
own digital newsstand. That includes, of course, Going Natural / Au
naturel.

On September 28, a national newspape in Canada, the Globe and Mail,
published an article about the launch.

Here's the way in to Going Natural / Au naturel at Magazines Canada:

http://magazinescanada.zinio.com

Then on the left click on "special interest," and up will pop the
FCN's magazine. Have a look!

Note that the FCN intends that subscribers to the digital edition be
considered equal to subscribers to the print edition.
