Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park, in East Gwillimbury, Ontario, has
generously put the main focus of its annual volunteer day on the FCN's
library.

This year's Volunteer Day at Bare Oaks is on Saturday May 9, 2009 from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Non-members are welcome and will not be charged any day fees if they
are volunteering. Lunch will also be provided, free of charge, for all
volunteers by Bare Oaks.

The plan is to fix up the FCN trailer that contains the library. The
FCN moved this trailer to Bare Oaks last fall. (Bare Oaks is providing
the site and utilities at no charge) When finished, the library will
contain several donated collections of magazines, newspaper clippings,
videos and other archival material from the world of naturism that go
back to the beginning of the 20th century. It will be an invaluable
resource for anyone interested in Canadian naturist history.

On volunteer day, the plan is to paint the trailer, build a deck and
stairs, organize and clean up the library, and possibly replace the
windows.

We urge everyone who is available to lend a hand on Saturday May 9th
to help put our library in a condition befitting such an important
resource. Anybody with resources that they would like to donate
(shelves, filing cabinets, building materials, etc...) should send an
email to email to fcnlibrary at bareoaks.ca or call the Bare Oaks office
at (905) 473-6060. Or call with Skype: BareOaks.
