From public at lists.fcn.ca Fri Jun 5 15:52:36 2009 From: public at lists.fcn.ca (public@lists.fcn.ca) Date: Fri Jun 5 15:52:44 2009 Subject: [FCN Announcements] An important broadcast for naturism Message-ID: <20090605195237.682106423@mail.fcn.ca> Last night (June 4), CBC Radio broadcast a ten-minute documentary about a woman convinced by her husband to go to a nudist resort on an ocean. It had no major errors. The piece ends up being very positive for naturism. Especially interesting are the ten worst things the woman imagines that could happen on her first social nude experience. They're revealed gradually throughout the story. By the end of her adventure, her body image issues are gone. She concludes, "There will be a next time...I can hardly remember why anyone would want to wear a bathing suit or a swimsuit at the beach." The episode is called "What not to Wear" and is part of the program series "Outfront." The woman is Tracy Isaacs, a professor of philosophy and women's studies at a major Canadian university. Privately she noted, "it is entirely a true story (as are all Outfronts --- that is their mandate)." Please listen to the broadcast here: http://www.cbc.ca/outfront/listen/2009/09-06-04.html You may also download it as an mp3 file. If you wish to thank the producers, write to them at: outfront@cbc.ca Who knows, maybe they'll consider doing another documentary of this quality about naturism! If anyone is interested, please contact Karyn. (she has done other shows with naturists before and is very respectful) If you think others might be interested, please forward the message. Begin forwarded message: ?Realtor vs. Realtor? is a new series for HGTV Canada and USA that challenges two top Toronto real estate agents against one another to find homebuyers their perfect home. I am looking for homebuyers motivated to buy in the Greater Toronto Area (or close to the GTA) between now and October. The incentive to interested homebuyers: two top real estate agents (not their teams) competing to find you the perfect home, and $1000 in cash to you. With their reputations on the line on national and international TV, these agents will be VERY motivated to find you your dream home at the right price. As with most television, we seek to cast a variety of different personalities, people with different interests, and in the case of this home-buying show, buyers with different needs. I am entertaining the idea of finding naturist homebuyers and wanted to know if you might be able to help me in my search. I have heard that naturists considering a purchase of a new home sometimes have different needs from a non-naturist. Do you think that?s so? Do you think any naturists you know might be interested? Look forward to hearing from you. Best, Karyn MacEwen ____ Karyn MacEwen For HGTV?s ?Realtor Vs Realtor?
