[FCN Announcements] An exciting possibility (no. 1, part 1)

This is the first of several messages about important (and unique)
events coming from the FCN.

What would you do if you could have a portion of your monthly expenses
on food, gasoline, and other times donated to the FCN *without any
additional expense on your part*? I'll tell you what many FCN directors
did: they enrolled in the program!

A government-sponsored program will donate about 3% of many monthly
expenses to the FCN from anyone who enrols. Sounds good, doesn't it! 

We'll send details in the next message. All you do is sign up, and a
long-time charity service does the rest. You just buy your groceries
etc. as you usually do: nothing more than that!

Like many organizations, the FCN could use this help. There are many
things we'd like to do but can't because of lack of funds. Here's a
small sample of those things:

1. Purchase promotional or sale materials, to make your organization
more visible.

2. Revise the Canadian guide to naturism and keep lists of beach
locations up to date.

3. Revamp the FCN's website to make it a powerhouse for naturism,
including much more in events, ideas, discussions, and advice.

4. Promote naturism in your region, with local seminars or festivals.

5. Increase circulation of the magazine Going Natural / Au naturel.

6. Hire a staff person to co-ordinate FCN operations, including
membership growth, public requests, accounting, publicity, and project
development.

All this and still more are possible if we can improve our financial
base. And you can help! --- as stated, by spending not a cent more than
you usually do but by simply signing up for a program that FCN directors
are in right now.

Details will be in the next message from us, in a few hours. Stand
by . . . 'cause if you want to get in on this for the month of August
(great idea!), you have to act **BY JULY 20.**

We value your support of the FCN and invite your help to make this
organization even stronger.
